These terms apply when you use MakeOGImage.com (“the site”), run by Oleksiy Onyshchenko in the United Kingdom. By using the site, you agree to them.
Using the tools
The editor, templates, batch tool and OG checker are free to use, with no account needed.
Your content and images
You keep full ownership of everything you add, such as text, logos and photos. It stays on your device and we never receive it. The images you create are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use, without attribution.
You’re responsible for what you put into your images. Don’t create images that infringe anyone’s rights, impersonate a person or organisation, or are misleading, defamatory, hateful or otherwise unlawful.
Templates and fonts
You may use the templates for your own images, including commercial projects, but not resell or redistribute them as templates. Fonts are open-source typefaces licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
Acceptable use
Only check pages and read sitemaps from websites you’re allowed to access. Don’t overload the site, get around usage limits, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with adverts, including by generating artificial clicks or impressions. We may limit or block requests that look like abuse.
Advertising
The site may show adverts provided by Google and its partners. We don’t choose or endorse the products advertised, and any dealings with advertisers are between you and them. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.
Other websites
We’re not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites, including those reached through links or adverts.
Availability and liability
The site is provided free and “as is”. Features may change or be removed at any time, and we can’t guarantee the site will be error-free or that images will display identically on every platform, so please check them before publishing. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Your statutory rights are not affected.
